Dr. David Luu is a longevity tech entrepreneur, cardiac surgeon, and philanthropist redefining how longevity medicine is practiced, scaled, and integrated across industries.

Dr. David Luu is a pediatric cardiac surgeon, longevity tech entrepreneur, and philanthropist building the infrastructure that longevity medicine runs on.

He is the founder and CEO of LongevityDocs, the intelligence network for longevity medicine, uniting more than 1,000 physicians across 68 countries. As the founder of LongevityDocs, he builds the global infrastructure of longevity medicine, uniting physicians, organizations, and leaders around the world. In 2025 he convened the first LongevityDocs Summit in Cannes. In 2026 the network graduated its first Certified Longevity Doctors, the field's first physician credential.

Dr. Luu serves as the Global Chief Longevity Advisor to L'Oréal Group, where he led the 2026 global launch of Lancôme Longevity MD. He sits on the board of Noom. Other ventures include Juisci, an AI-powered medical research app used by 100,000 healthcare professionals and researchers, and Hearty, a digital longevity clinic.

He is an adjunct professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a member of the Board of Advisors of the BioMedical Engineering and Imaging Institute (BMEEI), where he helps accelerate novel medical technologies across imaging, nanomedicine, AI, robotics, and sensors.

He has been featured in Wired, Huffington Post, The Hollywood Reporter, and Men's Health, and has spoken at CES, the Milken Institute, Web Summit, World Heart Summit, Transform Africa Summit, and the United Nations World Humanitarian Summit.

Since his first humanitarian mission to Burkina Faso in 2001, Dr. Luu has worked to widen access to cardiac care. In 2012 he founded The Heart Fund, a United Nations ECOSOC-accredited non-profit that delivers preventive mobile clinics and open-heart surgery for children in Africa, India, and Haiti. He serves as its founding chairman. The Heart Mobile, its first mobile clinic, launched in Côte d'Ivoire in 2014 and earned Dr. Luu the Prix Galien laureate award, and the World Heart Federation recognized The Heart Fund for the best cardiovascular prevention campaign.

Dr. Luu is a French board-certified surgeon with fellowship training in pediatric cardiac surgery at Marie-Lannelongue and Necker in Paris. He completed his residency at the University of Antilles-Guyane, his research training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, and his medical education at Montpellier University.

He lives in New York City with his wife, Moana Luu, and their son, Tayron-Khan. He travels widely, reads constantly, and cooks at home. He trains in tennis, calisthenics, martial arts, and yoga.
